S.A.F.E Place offers confidential and supportive Survivor Advocacy services to survivors of intimate partner domestic violence and sex trafficking. Services are available to all shelter residents as well as non-residential survivors seeking support and assistance. Survivor Advocates work with Survivors to restore and regain control by identifying goals, exploring resources, providing referrals and offering choices to support survivors in achieving a life free of abuse.
Services may include but are not limited to identifying and setting goals, safety planning and offering appropriate internal referrals for counseling, support group and legal advocacy. In addition, Survivor Advocates offer information and appropriate community referrals for housing, employment, health care and mental health, transportation, school enrollment, financial assistance and more.
